Over the years Newport Scout and Guide Gang Show has been involved in many events allowing us to promote the talents of our members. 

We are also delighted to be involved in fundraising events for other local charities.

In 2007-2008 we were pleased to support Councillor Allan Morris at various events during his Mayoral year, including fundraising for the Charity Just One Child.

"The boys and  Girls who make up the huge collective of talent that is the  ‘’Newport Scout and Guide Gang Show’’ are a classic example of what happens when you inspire our youth  to use their talent and energy in a productive way.

When they perform they do it with a smile on their face and joy in their hearts.  They make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, they make you proud of their city. They do it because they want to, they do it because they can.

On every street corner in every city in our country we see bored youngsters with nothing to do and nowhere to go, each with the potential to fall in harms way.

Be thankful for the small army of adult leaders who have taken the time to work with them to make them what they are. Youngsters to be proud of.
